Train timings revised - Bangalore City-Dharwad Inter-City Daily Express

HUBLI: The timings of Bangalore City-Dharwad Inter-City Daily Express (train No. 2725) have been revised following extension of its services upto Dharwad. Accordingly, the train departs Bangalore City at 13:00 hrs, and arrives/ departs Hubli at 21:10/ 21:15 hrs. It arrives in Dharwad at 21:50 hrs, the same day.

En route, the train makes brief halts at Tumkur (at 14:03 hrs), Tiptur (15:05), Arasikere Jn (15:35), Kadur (16:16), Birur Jn (16:25), Chikjajur (17:25); Davanagere (18:10), Harihar (18:27), Ranibennur (18:50), and Haveri (19:20).

In the return direction, Dharwad-Bangalore City Inter-City Daily Express (train No. 2726) departs Dharwad at 05:15 hrs, and arrives/ departs at Hubli at 05:45/ 06:20 hrs. It arrives at Bangalore City at 14:00 hrs the same day.

En route, the train makes brief halts at Haveri (at 07:22 hrs), Ranibennur (07:50), Harihar (08:12), Davanagere (08:30), Chikjajur (09:10), Birur Jn (10:08), Kadur (10:17), Arasikere Jn (10:50), Tiptur (11:30), Tumkur (12:28), and Yeshwantpur (13:27). There is no commercial stoppage in the extended portion.

Spl train services extended

For the clearance of extra rush of passengers, the railways will run Hubli-Yeshwatnpur-Hubli Weekly Special trains.

Hubli-Yeshwantpur Weekly Special (train No. 2777-A) departs Hubli at 06:50 hrs on December 16 and 23 and arrives at Yeshwantpur at 15:00 hrs, the same day.

In the return direction, Yeshwantpur-Hubli Weekly Special (train No. 2778-B) departs Yeshwantpur at 04:30 hrs on December 11, 18 and 25 and arrives at Hubli at 13:45 hrs, the same day.

Train between Hubli and Bijapur from Friday

HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to introduce a pair of Daily Express Special Train (0693/0694) between Hubli and Bijapur with effect from December 19, a release said.

Timings

The Hubli- Bijapur Daily Express Special (0693) will depart from Hubli at 4.15 p.m. and reach Bijapur at 10 p.m. on the same day.

Enroute, the special train will arrive at and depart from Sisvinahalli at 4.44 p.m. /4.45 p.m., Annigeri at 4.54/4.55 p.m., Gadag at 5.15p.m. /5.30 p.m., Hole Alur at 6.15p.m. /6.17 p.m., Badami at 7.02 p.m. /7.03 p.m., Bagalkot at 8p.m. /8.05 p.m., Alamatti at 9p.m. /9.01 p.m., Basavana Bagewadi Road at 9.30p.m. /9.31 p.m., and Ibrahimpur at 9.49p.m. /9.50 p.m. On the return route, Bijapur- Hubli Daily Express Special (0694) will leave Bijapur at 11 p.m., and arrive at Hubli at 7 a.m. the next day.

Enroute, the special train will arrive at and depart from Ibrahimpur at 11.07p.m. /11.08 p.m., Basavana Bagewadi Road at 1a.m. /1.02 a.m., Almatti at 1.45a.m. /1.46 a.m., Bagalkot at 2.47a.m. /2.52 a.m., Badami at 3.38a.m. /3.40 a.m., Hole Alur at 4.10a.m. /4.12 a.m., Gadag at 5.10a.m. /5.25 a.m., Annigeri at 5.55a.m. /5.56 a.m., and Sisvinahalli at 6.11a.m. /6.12 a.m.

The train would have 11 coaches comprising three second class sleepers, six general second class coaches, and two second class luggage-cum-brake vans, the release said.

Special trains to clear rush

HUBLI: In order to clear thess extra rush during summer, South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run special trains between Hubli-Bangalore (tri-weekly), Hubli-Kochuveli (weekly) and Mysore- Bangalore with effect from April 1, according to a press release.

Accordingly, Train No 0689 Hubli- Bangalore City Tri-weekly Special will depart Hubli at 22.20 hrs on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday commencing from April 2 and arrive Bangalore City at 8.10 hrs on the next day.

The last service from Hubli is on June 29 ( total 32 services).In the return direction, Train 0690 Bangalore City-Hubli Tri-weekly Special will leave Bangalore at 23.10 hrs on Monday, Thursday and Saturday commencing from April 3 and reach Hubli at 7.45 hrs on the next day. The last service from Bangalore is June 30.
