Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Jagadish Shettar inaugurated the fifth branch of the Hubli-DharwadOne service counter at Akshaya Park on Gokul Road here on Sunday.
The centre set up by Hubli-Dharwad Nagarika Seva Kendra will accept payments for electricity, telephone and water bills and the city corporation taxes at one place.
Mr. Shettar said four similar counters were functioning at Indira Glass House, Keshwapur, Navanagar and Kalabhavan in Dharwad. These centres had helped people save time, he said.
Member of Parliament Pralhad Joshi, Hubli-Dharwad Mayor Venkatesh Mestri, Corporation commissioner K.V. Trilokachandra, Deputy Commissioner Darpan Jain, Hubli-Dharwad One officer Rachaiah Hiremath, and Corporator Raghavendra Ramadurga were present.
