Belgaum: Angadi institute to commence this academic year

BELGAUM:
The Suresh Angadi Education Foundation's Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, which was approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and is
affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), will commence this academic year. This is the sixth engineering college in Belgaum.

Briefing to reporters on Saturday at Savagaon Road, where the college building is being constructed, director of an institute, M Shanthakumar said, the college will offer four graduation and one post graduation course -- BE in computer science, electronics and communication, electrical and electronics and in civil engineering. It will offer MBA as post graduation course.

He said, "The strength of each course is limited to 60 students and the institute has expert staff, along with full-fledged required laboratories and other infrastructure to coach students. We intend to begin evening BE engineering degree courses for the benefit of working employees of diploma level," said Shanthakumar. MP Suresh Angadi, retired principal C C Angadi and Madhu Angadi were present.
