SWR commissions training school in Dharwad


Dharwad: General Manager of the South Western Railway (SWR) Kuldeep Chaturvedi inaugurated the Divisional Integrated Training School, a multi-disciplinary training centre of SWR, here on Friday. A puja and unveiling of the stone plaque by Mr. Chaturvedi marked the commissioning of the training school.

The school campus has come up on a 23-acre land. The new two-storey building has been built at a cost of Rs. 3 crore. The training school will impart training to Group ‘C'and ‘D' employees.

Divisional Railway Manager of Hubli Adesh Sharma, Secretary to General Manager S.K. Gupta and senior railway officials D.K. Sheroff, V.K. Tempe, S. Laxminarayana, S.C. Sinha, V.K. Agarwal, and Sunilkumar Jyoti were among those present.
